Both of these machines are new to the Bernina range and offer extra features at an amazing price, and are the go to overlockers for the every day user right through to wedding dress stores and alteration shops who need a back up for their industrial machines. The tensions are not sensitive, the thread path is accessible and easy to thread, and the stitch... divine. This machine is made with quality metal, so loopers are strong and cutting blades have a long life.

Featuring 2 x LED lights, MTC ( Micro Thread Control - simply put, allows micro adjustments to the over-the-edge thread loops - it means you don't have to fiddle with tensions to get things just right!), easy threading with an automatic lower looper threader; the L450 is a gem to use. The L460 has extra features allowing for both hands to be on deck through the use of a knee lift (knee control lifts presser foot and drops feed dogs so you can re-position the fabric) and the famous Bernina needle up/down function on your foot control.
