This Juki is a semi-industrial, portable straight stitcher…. and is FAST! It is simple in its ‘look’, but made like an industrial sewing machine so it is mainly metal (inside and out) and made to work hard. This machine is popular amongst quilters, horse rug and sail menders, small businesses and dressmakers who want to create and mend over thick or fiddly material FAST! Having said that, for those of us who like to slow down the pace a bit, there is a ‘tortoise setting’ to limit the variable speed of the foot control ;)

If you want a no-fuss, simple but well built sewing machine with a bit of throat space, look no further. No fancy stitches, no electronics, no screens and no alphabet. Just a pure straight stitcher, with needle/up down, at its best. The sub-tension unit (sits just before the normal tension unit) ensures that thread feed is smooth and twist free which is essential when you are sewing at high speeds, and the side loaded (horizontal-axis full rotary hook) bobbin case brings you faultless tension. The thread cutter is swift and can be operated by the foot control or button, the knee lift allows both your hands to stay on the project, and your speed can be adjusted with a slide control (200spm - 1500spm). This little gem comes with an extension table and knee lift included, along with a heavy duty walking foot amongst other yummy accessories. Be prepared for a very responsive sewing experience on this machine!
